Cosmonaut Creative Media LLC (Cosmonaut) originally launched as Deitschel.com in 2003. The company incorporated shortly thereafter, serving clients in the transportation and high-tech industries. Daniel Deitschel provided services such as sales and marketing collateral design, interactive multimedia and web design.

Deitschel.com LLC relocated its offices from Tigard to downtown Portland in late 2005. As the list of satisfied clients expanded, the firm began to offer a greater array of services, such as marketing project management, information architecture consulting and search engine optimization (SEO)
